  8. simple interest loans. Installment sales will have their interest income
  9. recorded at the beginning of the contract, while early payoff interest is by
  10. the Rule of 78's interest payoff. Simple interest loans will have their
  11. interest income recorded each month by the amortization schedule, and loan
  12. payoff interest is only the outstanding amount. The module has a flexible
  13. letter writing feature that allows database information to be merged with
  14. standard letter formats. A General Ledger module comes with the system, which
  15. contains user-definable report formats.
